Release the Epstein Files: Transparency, Justice, and Accountability

Shimp for President 2028 | Official Campaign Statement

The American people deserve transparency and accountability regarding Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, his associates, and the institutions that may have enabled or concealed criminal misconduct.

The release of Epstein-related government records is essential to restoring public trust, identifying potential failures within our justice system, and ensuring that individuals responsible for criminal wrongdoing are held accountable, regardless of their wealth, influence, or political connections.

All legally releasable documents should be made public, with appropriate redactions to protect victims, survivors, minors, and sensitive identifying information. Victims deserve privacy, dignity, and protection from further harm.

However, redactions should not be used merely to shield powerful individuals from embarrassment or legitimate scrutiny. Where legally permissible, the identities of individuals whose criminal wrongdoing has been established should remain public.

Full and responsible disclosure would promote independent examination of the evidence, strengthen public confidence, and help ensure that justice is applied equally.

Protect the victims. Release the evidence. Hold offenders accountable.
